TORC is offering a fully catered mountain weekend to Canberra. The weekend is all about riding and experiencing the best trails. We take you to sweet flowing single track.
Only 15 spots available!!!
The bus and purpose built trailer will depart from Turramurra Cyclery on Saturday morning and return Sunday night. The cost for the weekend is $339. This covers accommodation, food and all
transport. Accommodation is at the Australian Institute of Sport.
This trip is for all levels of riders – that’s the beauty of the trails in Canberra. Kowen, Bruce Ridge and Stromlo... Sydney just doesn’t have a chance to compete with these tracks!
Friday (10 February)
9:00am – 5:30pm Drop bikes at Turramurra Cyclery
Saturday
6:30am for 6:40am Depart Turramurra Cyclery
9:30am Arrive Goulburn Area stretch/toilet - Green Grocer Cafe**
10:45am – 1:30pm Ride#1 Kowen - Mont 24 Hour Course - after ride lunch out on course (supplied)
2:00pm – 4:00pm Ride#2 Kowen
Coffee on way back to Australian Institute of Sport (AIS)**
5:00pm Check in AIS – pool is open if ride is not wanted, bring swimmers**
5:30pm – 7:00pm Ride#3 Bruce Ridge
6:00pm – 8:00pm Massages available**
7:00pm – 8:00pm Dinner AIS
+8.00pm – Bus to pub in O’Connor departs AIS ** If up for it!
Sunday
6:30am – 7:30am Breakfast AIS – drop bikes at trailer
7:30am Check out – leave bags at AIS
9:00am – 2:00pm Ride#3 Mt Stromlo
Lunch on course from 12:00pm – 1:00pm
2:30pm Depart Mt Stromlo and return to AIS for showers
3:30pm Depart AIS
3:45pm Stop for Coffee/Beers in Dickson before heading back to Sydney**
5:15pm Stop at Sally’s Corner stretch/toilet - McDonalds/Shell Service Station**
7:00pm Arrive Turramurra Cyclery
