A shaman works for the good of others. Your shaman doll will be a vehicle for your subconscious to tap into universal love, truth, and the God energy. A window to your soul will open as your doll helps create itself. Listen to what it wants to be. Valerie brings thirty years of supplies, materials, and Nature treasures to choose from; world music to inspire; and words of wisdom from great teachers to guide. Supplies are provided for a tiny book you create to expand this transformative experience.
You will be guided in the step-by-step process of creating a free-standing Shaman Doll that will contain symbols of your own spiritual journey and goals. Students will use wire armature, sculpted face, hands, and padded costumed body with adornments, support staff, pouches, and totems in this process.

Valerie Damon is a noted author, illustrator, sculptor, and multi-media artist. She is a compulsively creative person of a likeable nature who will jump-start your creative juices. Two of Valerie’s Giclee prints, Celebrate Nature and Dance on Mushrooms Sprillus Fungee have been selected to be in the Thea Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation and will travel in the Art Across Arkansas Educational program.
