VASA

Having recently signed to Overlook Records, and with a debut EP due this summer, this relatively new band have been making waves in the Glasgow scene. It's hard to describe this melodic and complex instrumental band, but imagine crossing Sigur Rós with Battles and you're halfway there. The guys currently have a few fantastic demos out but to truly enjoy Vasa you need to catch them playing live, and they're sure to be the perfect crescendo to this night.

EDINBURGH SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

It's a true honour to have this mammoth band bring some top-quality support to the night, and if you've not had a chance to listen to ESFTD then head to the link above. Their debut album New Youth Bible was released last year to critical acclaim, causing Ravechild to find it "...difficult not to fall under the spell." We could spend the time trying to explain their sound, but it's fair to say that it'll be the perfect fit for this night.

DEAD BOY ROBOTICS

Starting the night are this futuristic Edinburgh-based band who specialise in utilising laptops, synths, guitars, tribal drumming, vocal harmonies, yelps and screams. Having released their debut album late last year to a great response, they're currently working on their follow-up so maybe we'll get a chance to hear some more of their epic soundscapes...

Doors will be at 9 with Dead Boy Robotics starting shortly after. We're starting later than usual, but we like late. Tickets £5 on the door.
