new york holy week missions

Event Details

When: April 4-8
Where: Newark Archdiocesan Retreat Center (but the missions are in the city)
Who: high school girls and guys
Cost: approximately $200

Missions activities:
-Live Stations of the Cross through the city
-Outreach in soup kitchens and with the underprivileged
-Street missions and promotion of parish events
-Spiritual and Leadership activities such as daily mass and prayer, opportunities for confession and spiritual guidance
-Midnight Run- we ride in a bus through the city and bring food to all the homeless we see
-other activities still to be determined!

Guys I really hope you can come! Not only is this missions experience amazing because it's right in the heart of NYC, it's an opportunity to get together with other like minded teenagers and help each other to understand the reality of the amount of love Jesus must have for you, to literally die on a cross for you.

Girls from Florida, I was also hoping you guys would come because, well, I miss you! I never really got a chance to say goodbye because when I left, you only thought I'd be gone a year. I would love just one more incredible experience with you guys. You changed my life, made me who I am today. This missions experience could be a time of growth for all of us, and a time to remember the all our wonderful memories and experiences back when I was in the Sunshine State :). I love you and really really really hope you can come!
