donations needed for dogs

Hi All, I am asking if everybody could find time to clean out their closets and put together some donations for the Riverhead town animal shelter. They are in desperate need of necessities for these shelter dogs.

Please bring your donations with you to the MTAS fundraising events, or you can deliver stuff directly to the Riverhead Town animal shelter on Young's Ave Riverhead or you can call me and we will make arrangements for local pick-up.

Some items needed are:

Medium and Large Winter Dog Coats.(So very many people do not realize that pits are NOT that tough when it comes to the cold - they have thin coats of fur.)

Blankets and Towels.

Dog Food, Dog treats,(Everybody likes a nice treat especially when its cold out.)


Dog collars ,Dog Leashes

A night of fun having a cook-off contest between our politicians Jim Wooten & Jodi Giglio and our local truck drivers Greg Springer from peat and sons and Bob Pekar from Rapid Recovery.

Eagles Landing Calverton Links 149 Edwards Avenue Calverton NY 11933. $15.00 per person. Cash bar and cash BBQ lunch available. Car and motorcycle show. Motorcycle and car poker run. Live bands from 1pm to 7pm on stage at the driving range "Who are those guys", "The Vendettas", "Misspent Youth". Poker run and car registration from 9am to 11am at The Calverton Links parking lot. Poker run stops along the way as far as Claudio's Clam Bar Greenport and ending back at Calverton Links By 1pm for the bands and an afternoon of fun and prizes.
