Brother Nyles Salmond grew up in the Ogden, Utah area and served a mission to Oslo Norway. He completed his bachelors degree at Weber State University, his masters degree from Weber State and Utah State Universities and his doctorate from the University of Arizona. He has held teaching and administrative positions in theChurch Educational System for more than 30 years. Brother Salmond and his wife of 32 years, Patty, are the parents of eight children and are the grandparents of eight grandchildren.stitute teacher.
