Aston Cantlow has a very fine medieval Guild Room opposite the Kings Head Inn. The Guild Hall is believed to have been the home of the Guild of St Mary, first mentioned in 1442, a religious guild which provided priests for the church services. Part of the Guild Hall used to be the village gaol, but the building has now been converted into the village hall.
Past events have given us fantastic results, even a full blown apparition!
